Partners Against Violence Committee create awareness and education in the community by being visible in the community by planning focus events to ‘Build a Safer Community’!


‘Schools Joining Hand’s is a result of students making a difference!


The video created is based on a sustainable ‘Lesson Plan: ’ for teachers and students to create ‘Caring Strategies’ using ‘Key Messages’ from posters: ‘Solutions to Violence through the Eyes of Students’. It can be used any time!


From the ‘Lesson Plan’: Considerations by Students, a video was created by using as a tool to create a caring environment amongst students. The video message is clear.


How to Be a Friend! Stop Bullying!
It is okay to be Different! Do the Right Thing!

Over 170 students participated in the focus event. They came to celebrate the ’ Schools Joining Hands’ video demonstration of how to ‘Standing up’ to Bullying’ by using ‘Caring Strategies’ created by classmates!


Students viewed their video, participated together in interactive activities provided by
membership and other organizations with play activities.
